is a regular speaker at legal conferences on labor and employment, and recently authored Wage Watchers, Hispanic Trends (Winter 2004).She
regularly advises clients on compliance with the applicable federal, state, and local workplace laws.
In addition to defending litigation brought against employers for domestic employment claims, Ms. Diaz
assists the firm's multinational corporate clients on employment disputes arising out of their international operations.Being bilingual and bicultural, Ms. Diaz
is sensitive and knowledgeable about the unique aspects of employment disputes arising in such contexts.
Recently appointed by the Florida Supreme Court
to its Standing Committee on Fairness and Diversity, Diaz
has actively served the community in a variety of activities.She serves on the Florida Humanities Council, as well as the Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board and the Citizens Board of the University of Miami.She is currently a Director on the Board of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL) Miami-Dade Chapter.
