VICE PRESIDENT of ENGINEERING Emanuele joined InVisage with more than 20 years of image sensor, X-ray and particle physics detector experience. He began his career at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where he designed integrated circuits for high energy physics and helped deliver the pixel readout modules for the Atlas CERN inner detector in the Large Hadron Collider that confirmed the Higgs boson theory. He then joined AltaSens, an early stage startup company spun off from Rockwell Scientific and later acquired by JVC Kenwood, where he designed high-end CMOS image sensors for cinematographers, television broadcasters and filmmakers. He has been a reviewer for the NSS-MIC conference and he is author of many papers and image sensor-related patents. He holds a PhD, MS and BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Pavia, Italy.
