To prepare for the evening's concert, students from East Prairie Middle School, Golf Junior High, Old Orchard Junior High and Solomon Schecter Day School will attend band classes alongside high school students and rehearse with Band Director Elton Eisele.The following Band Directors, and their students, will participate in the festival and the concert: Tim Berlinghof, East Prairie School; Traci Bowering, Golf Junior High; Julie Liebman, Old Orchard Junior High; Marsha Rosenson, Solomon Schecter Day School and Elton Eisele, Niles North High School.

6:45 p.m. - EAA Volunteer Concert Band: Under the direction of EAA Chapter 790 President Elton Eisele, the EAA Volunteer concert band will open the evening's program with a variety of aviation-themed music.
EAA Concert Band Beginning to Take Shape
EAA AirVenture's first-ever concert band, originally announced in May, is beginning to take shape, says band director Elton L. Eisele.They will perform on Wednesday, July 25, to open that evening's program at Theater in the Woods."The music folders are almost finished and I'm going to send them out next week," he said, adding that he's still looking for woodwind and French horn players.
...Those interested in playing in the band (all are welcome to participate) should contact Eisele, longtime director of bands at Niles North High School in Skokie, Illinois.

Elton Eisele, Niles North's band director, said two pieces were selected last spring for the younger band members to play.
The first, "Shipwreck," will be played by the junior high schoolers alone.
The second, "Clash Of The Ironclads," will be played by the younger musicians along with their Niles North musical mentors.
The bands have been rehearsing the pieces separately since the beginning of the school year, but they will play them for the first time together on Tuesday at a rehearsal during the day.
noted that the concert gives the younger musicians a terrific opportunity forÂ meet fellow musicians from other schools as well as seeing what high school band is all about.
