...Dr. Ellen Lauber's professional experiences include positions as North America Scientific Affairs Specialist for Atkins Nutritionals, Inc., Business Development Manager for Helm New York, Inc. and technical positions at Robertet Flavors and Givaudan.
Ellen's broad base of experiences encompass: providing regulatory compliance; developing and coordinating technology ventures; exploring new technology feasibility; developing intellectual property; identifying trends, providing concepts and creating flavors; creating promotional sales/marketing literature; giving presentations internal and to customers; and collaborating with colleagues, customers, contract services, university professionals and vendors. Dr. Lauber is an active IFT professional member volunteering her time and leadership to National IFT and the local NYIFT Section.Currently, Ellen is an IFT Executive Committee Member and Chair of the Council Issues and Agenda Committee.Ellen served as a member or chair on IFT Committees and Task Forces.Currently, she is the Chair of the Institute Nominations Committee in her local NYIFT Section were she held many positions throughout the years including chair of the section.Dr. Lauber is a founding member and currently Chair of the Rutgers Food Science Alumni Committee.She
is contributing leadership, enthusiasm and ideas to create a sense of community and camaraderie for the Alumni and those who will soon become Alumni.In addition, Dr. Lauber

has traveled internationally.Dr. Ellen Lauber has a Ph.D. in Food Chemistry from the Department of Food Science at Rutgers University.She received a M.S. in Food Science from Rutgers University and B.S. degree in Human Nutrition and Foods from Douglass College.
