She has also lectured at the request of the Office of Court Administration to court attorneys, court examiners, law clerks, judges, and Mental Hygiene Legal Service attorneys.
Ms. Flowers is an associate editor and contributor to the Guardianship Practice in New York State, a publication of the New York State Bar Association. For her commitment to the association, the New York State Bar nominated Ms. Flowers for Sustaining Membership. She is also a member of the Surrogate Decision Making Committee formed by the State Commission on Quality of Care for the Mentally Disabled. Ms. Flowers is the recent former Co-Chair of the Nassau County Bar Association Elder Law Committee
