iMedia Connection: What's one of the most successful campaigns you've executed this year?
Comley: One that we'll be discussing at the iMedia Summit is one that involves a technology marketer who wants to reach c-level execs.It's a really neat program.
Comley: To date we've been looking at interaction depth and volume - meaning how many articles people open, how much time they spend with them, how many Web casts they attend, how many White Papers they download -- as well as the e-mail signups, and they've all been outstanding.
Comley: It depends on what you mean by integrated.
Comley: On the creative side, we're all in agreement that we'll see more demand for broadcast quality audio and video experiences.
Comley: Absolutely.
Comley: The big bucket answer would be evolving standards, far and away.We're still a young business and people lose sight of that some times.
Comley: We have to proactively encourage our clients to participate in resolving the issues and in being the leaders in finding the answers.
Comley: How to show it works.
Comley: No.
Comley: If the agencies lead the charge by themselves, it will be seen as self-promotion and self-serving.
Comley: For the same reasons that the advertising agency business is still around and has continued to thrive.Having an agency partner delivers increased expertise by virtue of having a singular focus on this particular business, increased leverage because we're in the market place in a significant way every day for a broad roster of clients, and increased effectiveness because we build the whole package.Again going back to messaging and marketing programs as well as when necessary the site platforms that make these programs work, having someone own that complete offering to a client/customer definitely has a perceived and a real value.
iMedia Connection: How can agencies encourage their clients to keep up with the reported increase in consumer media consumption?
