BREWERShe was a graduate of Jackson High School and Charlotte Beauty School.She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church, where she was a member of Witness in Service Circle and Wesley Fellowship Sunday School Class.She was also a member of Woodmen of the World.She was a self-employed hairdresser and owner of Louise Beauty Salon.Survivors besides her husband include two daughters, Sandra Lee Brewer of Sumter, S.C., and Sherry Lynn Council and her husband, Chip, of Charlotte; a brother, Dale Walkup of Waxhaw; a sister, Genevieve Courtney of Monroe; and three grandchildren, Robbie, Rebekah and Richard Council.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Gordon Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David Lawrence officiating.Burial will be in Lakeland Memorial Park.Memorials may be made to Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 5300 Nesbit Road, Waxhaw, NC 28173.Gordon Funeral Service Inc. of Monroe is in charge of arrangements.
