Burial will be in Forrest Hills Cemetery in Chattanooga with Hardwick and Sons Funeral Home directing.The body will be at the church one hour before the funeral. Ms. Smith died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2002, in Lawton, Okla.She was born March 22, 1936, in Courtland to Ernest B. Smith and Channie Smith.She lived in Chattanooga 40 years before moving to Oklahoma in July.She graduated from Central High School in Courtland.She was sister of the late Penny Jones Thompson and granddaughter of the late Winnie Pryor.She was a member of New United Baptist Church in Chattanooga and a former employee of Universal Life Insurance Co.She retired from Dixie Yarns Inc.
