Sci-fi Writer Elizabeth Moon Believes Everyone Should Be Chipped More Login Sci-fi Writer Elizabeth Moon Believes Everyone Should Be Chipped The first 4 words that came to my mind when I read this proposal were yourself, Elizabeth, fuck, & go. Go fuck Elizabeth yourself? I actually listened to the clips and it is clear that Elizabeth is talking about a hypothetical situation. She isn't saying she advocates chipping everyone with ID chips in the real world. She was discussing a fictional hypothetical situation she even states it "if I were empress of the universe". Plus she does discuss, the privacy implications, and it's very reasoned. Her main objective was for some sort of method to identify Friend of Foe on the battlefield. She even admits to draw backs and such. You guys are acting like she is some raving lunatic wanting to destroy your lives. In order to avoid problems with miss-identification, just like Elizabeth proposes. It was a little gift he got as part of the welcome package when he checked into the German Stalag. I somehow don't think he would have much positive to say about Elizabeth's proposal if he were alive to hear it. This month, the author in the spotlight is: Elizabeth Moon a photograph of science fiction and fantasy author, Elizabeth Moon Elizabeth Moon Who is Elizabeth Moon? Where should I start? What are people saying? Who is Elizabeth Moon? The Nebula Award-winning Elizabeth Moon has been writing brilliant science fiction and fantasy for over two decades now. She's truly one of the genre's classic writers. Before Moon became a full-time writer, she achieved a degree in History and a degree in Biology and also went into the United States Marine Corps, where she attained the rank of 1st Lieutenant while on active duty. Publishing her first story in 1986, and her first novel three years after that, Elizabeth Moon quickly became a fan favourite among science fiction and fantasy readers. Elizabeth currently lives in Austin, Texas with her husband and their son. You can find out more about Elizabeth at her website, or follow her on twitter @emoontx to keep up to date. Where should I start? Elizabeth is loved equally for her science fiction and her fantasy, so where you should start is really up to you!
