Ms. Kendrick maintains a civil litigation practice with an emphasis in insurance-related matters. Her practice involves analysis of insurance coverage issues in connection with virtually all types of insurance disputes. She has experience with all forms of insurance, including environmental liability, employment practices liability, D&O, E&O, CGL, products liability, property/casualty, media, life, health and disability. Ms. Kendrick graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a B.A. degree in 1982. She received her J.D. degree from Loyola Law School Los Angeles in 1985. She was on the Dean's Honor List at both institutions and received the Jessup Moot Court Best Brief Award at Loyola. Ms. Kendrick also studied comparative law at Oxford University, England. Ms. Kendrick has over twenty years of civil litigation experience. Since joining Keesal, Young & Logan in 1989, she has handled insurance coverage and professional liability claims. She has litigated to conclusion over 200 errors and omissions claims against insurance agents, including property/casualty, life, health, disability agents, surplus lines brokers and London brokers, many of these claims involving exposure in excess of $1 million. Ms. Kendrick has assisted carriers in coverage analysis and has drafted insurance policies. She has also assisted insured in disputes with carriers. In addition to her insurance practice, Ms. Kendrick has handled securities cases for many Wall Street brokerage houses and defended clients in general business/contract disputes, maritime matters, products liability and personal injury claims. She has served as lead counsel in numerous trials (state and federal court) and arbitrations. Ms. Kendrick has lectured on Avoiding Insurance Agent/Broker Malpractice. She serves as a Judge Pro Tem in the Los Angeles Judicial District. She is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in California. Ms. Kendrick is also active in the local community and she volunteers time at hospitals as a registered member of the Delta Society, a non-profit organization which promotes animals helping people improve their health and quality of life.
