Elizabeth Feldman, MS, DMD, MS
Elizabeth Feldman, MS, DMD, MS, leads the Dental Section as part of the Thoracic/Head and Neck Cancers Department at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando where she provides maxillofacial prosthodontics/dental oncology services.
Dr. Feldman received a master's degree in medical radiation physics from Chicago Medical School, and then went on to earn her dental degree from Nova Southeastern University.
She completed her specialty training in prosthodontics at the University of Florida where she also earned a master's degree in science.
fellowship training in maxillofacial prosthodontics and oncologic dentistry at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center
focuses on prosthetic correction and management of the head and neck cancer patient with maxillofacial rehabilitation needs.
is trained to make intraoral and extraoral prostheses.
special interests include orofacial implant rehabilitation as well as taking care of patients with bisphosphonate and radiation osteonecrosis, chemotherapy and radiation therapy effects on the oral cavity.
has extensive experience with traumatic injuries and children with ectodermal dyspalsia and other special needs.
clinical expertise unites dentistry with multiple medical specialties including head and neck surgery, plastic and reconstruction surgery, radiation and medical oncology, dermatology, pediatrics, speech pathology and psychiatry.
has written and presented on several topics involving maxillofacial prosthodontics.
Dr. Feldman is a fellow of the American Association of Maxillofacial Prosthetics, a member of American College of Prosthodontics, American Dental Association, Academy of Osseointegration and a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
is also fluent in Russian.
