Elizabeth Bremner is the cofounder of WiserGiving, a free online toolkit designed to "make smart philanthropy simple" for individuals to help them increase the lifetime impact of their giving. For over two decades, Liz has provided leadership for new and emerging philanthropic organizations, serving as President of The Foundation Incubator (2001-2005), President and CEO of the Santa Fe Community Foundation (1993-2001), and Founding Executive Director of the Los Angeles Women's Foundation (1986-1991). Liz currently serves on the Boards of Directors for the Ms. Foundation for Women in New York, and WiserEarth and Zero Divide in San Francisco. Liz has sat on the Boards of Women and Philanthropy, L.A. Women's Foundation, and Northern New Mexico Grantmakers where she was President of the Board. Past leadership involvements include: Leadership and Mentoring Team of the Hopi Foundation, judge for Stanford University's BASES Social E-Challenge business plan competition for social enterprises and L.A. For over two decades, Elizabeth L. Bremner (Liz) has provided leadership for new and emerging philanthropic organizations, serving as the first president of The Foundation Incubator (2001-2005), President and CEO of the Santa Fe Community Foundation (1993-2001), and founding Executive Director of the Los Angeles Women's Foundation (1986-1991). Liz led The Foundation Incubator, which provides cutting edge services for emerging philanthropists, from the initial start-up phase through four years of growth, and spearheaded its eventual merger with the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University to create the Philanthropy Incubator and Philanthropy Incubator Silicon Valley at the Community Foundation Silicon Valley. Liz has served on the boards of Women and Philanthropy, L.A. Women's Foundation, and Northern New Mexico Grantmakers where she was President of the Board. She currently serves on the Leadership and Mentoring Team of the Hopi Foundation. Formerly she served on the L.A. Unified School District's Commission on Sex Equity, was a judge for Stanford University's BASES Social E-Challenge business plan competition for social enterprises and co-authored a book on children's gardening.
