She currently serves on the Leadership and Mentoring Team of the Hopi Foundation. Formerly she served on the L.A. Unified School District's Commission on Sex Equity, was a judge for Stanford University's BASES Social E-Challenge business plan competition for social enterprises and co-authored a book on children's gardening. Her contributions have been honored with Full Circle Fund's Full Impact Award, Women and Philanthropy's LEAD Award, Women's Funding Network's "Changing Face of Philanthropy Award" and with commendations from the State of California, County and City of Los Angeles, and the City of Santa Fe.
She earned her B.A. from the University of California, Davis, and a Masters Degree in Management at the University Redlands. She is a native to the San Francisco Bay Area, where she currently resides.

Elizabeth Bremner, President, has over two decades of philanthropic experience. Before coming to launch The Foundation Incubator in 2001, Bremner served as President and CEO of The Santa Fe Community Foundation for almost eight years. Under Bremner's leadership, the foundation significantly increased its grantmaking and launched three new strategic initiatives: The Technical Assistance Connector Project, Children's Summer Program and the Lesbian and Gay Community Funding Partnership. Bremner also served as the founding Executive Director of the Los Angeles Women's Foundation, which recently merged with its Northern California counterpart to form The Women's Foundation of California.
Bremner recently served on the board of Women & Philanthropy, the National Center for Family Philanthropy California Advisory Committee, the Women Give! committee, and she was previously president of the Northern New Mexico Grantmakers Board, and was among the charter class of Leadership New Mexico. She was also a member of the Editorial Board of Advisors of The Foundation News and Commentary and, in 1996, received the Changing the Face of Philanthropy Award from the Women's Funding Network. Bremner has also received commendations from the State of California, the County and City of Los Angeles and the City of Santa Fe.
