As indicated by the many emails and letters that have been forwarded to Mr. Parker and / or Ms. Elise Eberwein, Executive Vice President People and Communications, employees and retirees should have had input on this most important and sensitive matter: 1) Changing the retirees to a D2R travel status, giving retirees a lower classification than active employees, and 2) Reducing the number of D3 Passes from 24 one-way trips to 8 one-way trips - a lower number of D3 one-way trips than active employees.
Ms. Elise Eberwein, Executive Vice President People and Communications,American Airlines Group, P.O. Box 619616 DFW Airport, TX 75261-9616         Elise.eberwein@aa.com Not knowing the outcome of our request for a meeting with Senior Management and / or the outcome of the many letters that have been written to Mr. Doug Parker, CEO and Ms. Elise Eberwein, Executive Vice President, People and Communications, we strongly suggest that every AA Clubs member that are concerned about the new D2-D3 Travel Policy changes writes an email and / or letter to: I am very opposed to a flawed process and policy from Elise Eberwein that is founded on: We are not asking for more, we only want what we worked for, what we were promised, and for AA to be strong. I wish that Ms. Eberwein knew, as we know, that the AA pass travel policy worked great!  ü Why spend money for a 2+ year integration to create a  pass system with multiple implementation dates and changes that Ms. Eberwein and Mr. Parker plan to dictate after she makes her decisions?  ü Have you told the unions that Ms. Eberwein plans indefinitely for more surprises to retroactively change benefits? Don’t you realize how important it is now to have some spirit of cooperation with the unions?                        Elise Eberwein, Executive Vice President, People and Communications  On January 2, 2014 the new AAL management team, under the signature of Elise Eberwein announced upcoming major changes to retiree travel and a reduction in D3 travel for both active and retired employees. As we post this briefing, retirees have begun to receive our first mailing on this subject, again under the signature of Elise Eberwein. We recommend that you hold on to this official notice from the new management of AAL. We assume active employees will also be receiving a written notice by Ms. Eberwein shortly.
