Gilchrist & Rutter Attorney Elisa Paster moderated the panel, "Pitfalls and Practical Advice for Small Projects", at the 2012 Crocker Symposium which focused on entitling and developing infill projects in and around the City of Los Angeles.
Panelists, who included senior City staff and developers from California Landtmark

, advised big and small project developers on navigating the city's administrative and CEQA approval processes.
The symposium titled, "X Marks the Spot: Discovering the Treasure in Today's
Real Estate Market" was presented by the Real Property Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and Richard S. Ziman Center for Real Estate at UCLA
and was held on October 30, 2012 at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles.

Elisa Paster to Serve on Board of Westside Urban Forum and Conference Committee for APA National Planning Conference
Gilchrist & Rutter Associate Elisa Paster was recently appointed to the Board of the Westside Urban Forum, a network of developers, planners, designers, architects and community members dedicated to land use issues that affect Los Angeles' Westside.
The Forum hosts monthly breakfast panels with community leaders discussing issues facing the development community.
will also co-chair the Forum's keystone event, The Westside Prize, on June 8th.
Ms. Paster is also serving on the Conference Committee for the American Planning Association's National Planning Conference in Los Angeles on April 14-17, which will bring more than 5,000 planners to Los Angeles.
She is chairing the Planner's Guide Committee which prepares and distributes a Los Angeles planning guidebook to conference attendees.
