Eli ("Ellie") Hudspeth Mountain Management Design and Consultants, INC.
Based in Pueblo, Eli brings more than 25years of experience in marketing and small business development to the Colorado Public Affairs Group.
Armed with a BS in Fashion Design, Eli worked for the public sector at the Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration, helping to prepare international agreements for textile and apparel trade.
After finishing graduate school with an MBA in International Business and Marketing, Eli moved to New York City and the private sector to work in market development for an international Fortune 500 fashion company. After years of working with such large public and private, internationally-focused organizations, Eli decided to start her own business "in her backyard. She founded and operated a small chain of retail gift shops which specialized in hand-crafted and unique but functional items. After marrying her best customer and traveling to Guatemala to pick up their son, Eli and family moved to Pueblo in 1999.
Since that time, Eli has been an active and "multi-purpose" community volunteer working for organizations such as Junior Achievement (teaching International Economics courses), The Veronika String Quartet (facilitating musical outreach programs to disadvantaged communities) and the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo (special event planning and business development). In the areas of design and marketing, Eli has worked at re-branding various businesses - a credit union, a software technology company and a community service organization to name a few. Eli has also worked in small business development with the Colorado Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and with the Small Business Development Center. Eli has been teaching at Colorado Technical University for several years and is currently Lead Faculty for all business programs at the University's Pueblo campus. Eli loves to travel and has wandered the world in efforts to broaden her mind, learn empathy and expand her communication abilities. In addition to travel, Eli spends her leisure time reading and skiing with her family in Colorado's Rocky Mountains.
