Eli ("Ellie") Hudspeth

Based in Pueblo, Eli
brings more than 25years of experience in marketing and small business development to the Colorado Public Affairs Group
Armed with a BS in Fashion Design, Eli worked for the public sector at the Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration, helping to prepare international agreements for textile and apparel trade.
After finishing graduate school with an MBA in International Business and Marketing, Eli
moved to New York City and the private sector to work in market development for an international Fortune 500 fashion company.
After years of working with such large public and private, internationally-focused organizations, Eli
decided to start her
own business "in her
founded and operated a small chain of retail gift shops which specialized in hand-crafted and unique but functional items.
After marrying her
best customer and traveling to Guatemala to pick up their son, Eli
and family moved to Pueblo in 1999.
Since that time, Eli has been an active and "multi-purpose" community volunteer working for organizations such as Junior Achievement (teaching International Economics courses), The Veronika String Quartet (facilitating musical outreach programs to disadvantaged communities) and the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo (special event planning and business development).
In the areas of design and marketing, Eli
has worked at re-branding various businesses - a credit union, a software technology company and a community service organization to name a few.
Eli has also worked in small business development with the Colorado Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and with the Small Business Development Center.
Eli has been teaching at Colorado Technical University for several years and is currently Lead Faculty for all business programs at the University's Pueblo campus.
Eli loves to travel and has wandered the world in efforts to broaden her
mind, learn empathy and expand her
In addition to travel, Eli
leisure time reading and skiing with her
family in Colorado's
