...Eleanor Humphries is currently President and CEO of the Halifax International Airport Authority (HIAA).Prior to joining HIAA, Ms. Humphries was the President and CEO of Credit Union Atlantic (CUA).

, the credit union experienced significant growth and a significant re-positioning as a major community-based financial institution.She has also worked in various management positions of increasing seniority within the financial services industry, including management positions within the Bank of Nova Scotia, at the branch, regional, district and executive office levels.Ms. Humphries holds her Bachelor of Science and her Masters in Business Administration degrees, both from Dalhousie University.She
has also obtained the Executive Management designation from McGill University
has been honored on three (3) occasions as one of the Top 50 CEOs in Atlantic Canada and received a Distinguished Alumni Award from Armbrae Academy
In addition to her
work and educational experience she
is an active volunteer in our community.She sits on the Board of the Nova Scotia Community College Foundation as well as that of InNOVACorp, the Nova Scotia Mental Health Foundation, the Metro Halifax Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Halifax Partnership, the Atlantic Canada Chamber of Commerce, and the Canadian Airports Council.Ms. Humphries is a member of the Corporate Advisory Council for Atlantic Health Promotion Research Centre.Ms. Humphries is also a past Board member of the North End Community Health Centre, Ambrae Academy, and past Chair of the St. Margaret's Bay Community Centre Capital Campaign. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Ms. Humphries was raised in Nova Scotia and resides in St. Margaret's Bay.
