in Colorado Springs.Brother Thuston has received a doctoral degree from Faith Baptist Seminary and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Drew University in Madison, N.J.He has also earned a Master of Divinity from St. Paul Methodist Seminary as well as a Master of Arts in Ancient Near East Languages from and the A.G. Graduate School and Southwest Missouri State University.Rev. Evangelist Marian Thuston, his
wife and partner in ministry, is also mother of their two teenagers.He
is the son of the late Rev. Floyd and Mother Roberta Thuston of Chanute, Kansas.
After twenty five years of pastoral leadership including seven years of service in Kansas East with increasing leadership capacities under the late Bishop W.H. McDonald, Bishop Thuston was signally honored March 26, 2004.Upon the recommendation of jurisdictional pastors, Elder Thuston was appointed jurisdictional bishop of the Kansas East Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction consisting of fifty two parishes by Presiding Bishop G.E. Patterson.
