...Schweitzer, is a certified public accountant who brings over a decade of health care financial management to her new post at Kaiser Permanente.Prior to her promotion, Schweitzer served as Interim Lead of Financial Planning.Schweitzer joined Kaiser Permanente in 1999 when she was named the organization's Managing Director of Medicare Finance. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, Schweitzer spent 12 years working for Aetna US Healthcare in managerial positions, including Regional Controller and West Regional Financial Officer.From 1980 to 1985, she was an accountant for Price Waterhouse in Connecticut before joining Aetna.Schweitzer earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Virginia.
