Rabbit Travelogue was originally initiated by Rita Hui and Edwin Lo. This project is an on-going dialogues and travelogues between the two artist (Rita on visual; Edwin on sound) about the changes and happenings in Hong Kong. Central Region is a side project coming up with Rabbit Travelogue which focus on the travelogues of soundscape in Central and Sheung Wan produced by Edwin Lo. This project to certain extend is the artist's personal records and diary of his wanderings in different spaces and occasions which try to reflect a different perspective on examining a place as well as articulate certain emotions towards one place. EDWIN LO - RABBIT TRAVELOGUE: CENTRAL REGION (CD by Rabbit Travelogue Edition) The name Edwin Lo doesn't sound exactly Chinese, but he send his CD from that country, where he recorded the field recordings over a three year period in Sheung Wan and Central. The Rabbit mentioned refers to a fictional character in this story, traveling about. It starts out with a rather low end hum but soon enough the field recordings come in which he is "trying to articulate is to observe, correspond, questioning the central value by using sound and its archival and creative practice".

Edwin Lo is a sound artist, sound designer and field recordist form Hong Kong graduated from School of Creative Media (SCM), City University of Hong Kong. Through different explorations on sound, Edwin Lo tries to develop his own philosophy and language on sound and listening: thinking sound as an object of desire, as haunting memories and experiences, articulation of our consciousness and awareness on listening and the evolution of listening. Edwin Lo's sound works were published in various places such as Hong Kong, China, Japan and Mexico. In 2007, he established Rabbit Travelogue with video and film director Rita Hui and they are producing an on-going dialogue between sound and vision. Lo's sound works were exhibited since 2008 in various local and overseas exhibitions such as Hong Kong Sound Station (2009), Shenzhen&Hong Kong Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism Architecture 2009, SoundLab (2009, 2010), FILE 2010 - Electronic Language International Festival and EMERGEANDSEE Media Art Festival (2010), P/S Central (2010) and Hong Kong InDependent Film Festival (2010). Since 2009, he also participated theatre production "Tides in Limbo" (2009), "My Favourite Time" (2009), "448 Things to do at 4.48 (2010) and "Woman. Appetites" (2011).
