Edward Pitts is co-author of Matthew Bender's New York Workers' Compensation Handbook (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004), the only comprehensive treatise on the subject in print. He is a founder and current president of the Injured Workers' Bar Association and a partner in the Syracuse law firm of Daly & Pitts, where he has exclusively represented injured workers for the past 15 years.

Edward Pitts is co-author of Matthew Bender's New York Workers' Compensation Handbook (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004), the only comprehensive treatise on the subject in print.
Pitts is a former college philosophy instructor and past president of both the Central New York Workers' Compensation Bar Association and the Madison County Bar Association. He earned his bachelor's degree in history from Bucknell University (1970), his doctor of philosophy and education from Pennsylvania State University (1979) and his juris doctor from the City University of New York at Queens College Law School (1987). Pitts lectures widely throughout the state of New York on workers' compensation issues.
