As usual we were helped and challenged by listening to Mike Betts and this year we were blessed by Edward Buria
Edward is the founder and Senior Pastor of Kambakia Christian Centre.
The church runs a popular TV programme, which is watched by millions in Kenya and beyond.
is a prolific church planter and provides apostolic oversight for Newfrontiers churches in Kenya.
is married to Fridah and has four grown up children.
had many encouraging prophetic words to share for the individual churches in the East of England, which he
had visited before the conference, for the movement as a whole and for the whole of the UK.
You can here some of these in detail by listening to his
Saturday morning sermon online at http://www.relationalmission.com/conference-recordings/.
In summary he
senses a great revival coming to UK which will be so powerful that the media will not be able to keep up with it.
This move of God
will be powerful because it will be to do with people's lives being changed; it will be happening everywhere and will be so spontaneous that the cynical media will not be able to criticise it and bring it down.
looked at Gen 18 where God
promised Abraham that he
would spare Sodom for a small handful of believers and drew parallels to the significance of the small number of believers in the UK.
talked about how God
is greatly attracted to our faith.
also gave us strong Bible-based teaching on what are the marks of a New Testament type Apostolic community.
Sunday morning sermon Edward
gave us his
remarkable testimony of how God
took him from poverty, drug dealing and a terminal heart condition to far reaching apostolic ministry.
challenged us by talking about how being a witness for Christ is highly important and something that we can all do.
The Holy Spirit was moving powerfully in the big meetings igniting faith in people's hearts and bringing physical healing.
