Re-elected for a fifth term as municipal councillor for Dorval in 1998, Edgar Rouleau
has extensive experience in municipal politics.After graduating from the École des Hautes Études Commerciales in 1969, he went on to become a certified management accountant (CMA).He is presently director of the Montreal Branch of ITT Flygt, where he has been for 31 years.
As a city councillor, he
has been involved in several committees and has taken on many responsibilities including the architecture and planning committee and the Pension Plan and finance committee for about 10 years.He chairs the committee for the Dorval Heritage Museum, and is vice-chairman for Golf Dorval, the computer committee and the Des Sources Industrial Park.
In community matters, he
was involved with the Dorval Citizens' Association, the West Island Chamber of Commerce and Réseau Environnement
