is a fifteen-year veteran of the New York City Housing Police retiring in 1999 with the rank of Sergeant.
was involved in hundreds of " plain clothes " undercover operations resulting in over fifty felony arrests.
was awarded two Unit Citations, four Police Commendations, eighteen Meritorious Service and thirty-seven Excellent Service Awards.
After retirement, Ed
joined the private security industry and was one of the first New York City Police
Officers to achieve the " Certified Protection Professional " designation from ASIS.
In 2000 Ed founded Lancaster Investigative & Protective Services, which has grown into one of the areas most respected, and sought-after security organizations.
is also very active in ASIS holding a board position in Chapter 13 in New Jersey.
duties include teaching security management and consulting on Homeland Security.
Ed is also very active in the community and is a member of the Mahwah Chamber of Commerce, the Bergen/Highlands Rotary as well as many other civic and business organizations.
