Rev. Ed Frampton assumed his position as General Director of IBJM in January 2006, after serving as an IBJM missionary in Johannesburg, South Africa, for five years.He
wife, Mary, have five lovely children.They are all blessed with musical talent.Ed has a background in business and Christian education.He was the administrator and principal of a successful Christian school.His
wife, Mary, taught school for seven years.He
plays the piano and organ very well and sings solos, also.
While in Johannesburg, he
started two churches, one of which has experienced real growth.It was not unusual for twelve to fifteen Jewish people to be present for the services.A soul-winner, Ed
has won many Jewish people to the Lord, as well as Gentiles.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Brother Frampton was in the clothing business from 1976 to 1982.But the Lord saved him and called him to preach.He was ordained to the gospel ministry in 1983, and served as a deacon at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Greenville, North Carolina.He earned a B.A. degree in Business Management / Administration from Furman University, finishing college in 1992.He
attended Bob Jones University
until 1994 with a major in Bible, and continues his
studies for a Master's degree.He was assistant pastor at the victory Baptist Church in Sylva, North Carolina.Dr. Orman Norwood, president of IBJM, says of Brother Frampton, "Ed's record as a Christian minister is exemplary.
