is a freelance public relations guru who first thought to combine her
two loves, advocacyand communications, by interning-and later working- as the Communications Associate for Catholics for a Free Choice
(a pro-choice catholic reproductive advocacy group).Working for an international advocacy organization propelled Ebony
to accept a position a NARAL Pro-Choice Georgia (NPCG).Her work at NPCG included spearheading a statewide program geared towards educating minority women on the current status of women's reproductive health in the US with a key focus on women of color and their access to healthcare.
In 2002, she
was honored by the Active Element Foundation
as one of the Top 25 Under 30 activists in the country.In addition, Ebony is the founding co-Chair of Progressive Leadership Georgia, Inc.An alumna of Howard University's Johnson & Johnson's School of Communications, Ebony has aspirations of attaining her law degree and producing a talk show geared towards interpreting and advancing policies for a better future.
