...Earl S. Eichin, Jr., who was born in Kingsport, Tennessee, and raised in Ashburnham, Massachusetts, received his AB degree in 1963 from Dartmouth College.From 1963 to 1966, he served as an officer in the United States Naval Reserve, and he received his law degree in 1969 from the University of Virginia.Mr. Eichin joined Lemle & Kelleher, L.L.P. as an associate in 1969 and became a partner of the firm in 1972.In 1979, he left the firm to form Barham & Churchill, and four years later formed O'Neil, Eichin & Miller, where he practiced for sixteen years.He
returned to Lemle & Kelleher
in 1999 in an Of Counsel position.Mr. Eichin has more than thirty years of bench and jury trial experience in federal and state courts in Louisiana and elsewhere and he has served as lead counsel in approximately fifty reported cases.He also has served as an Assistant Bar Examiner in Louisiana since 1975, and is a National Association of Securities Dealers arbitrator acting as both a panelist and chairperson.At Lemle & Kelleher, he is a member of the firm's Business Litigation section.
Mr. Eichin's areas of practice include general litigation, contractual disputes, securities, insurance, products liability, construction, oilfield, brown and blue water maritime, financial, and administrative law matters.Mr. Eichin
is admitted to the practice of law in the States of Virginia and Louisiana as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Western and Middle Districts of Louisiana and the United States Court of Appeals
