He earned his Bachelor of Arts at Williams College, and his Master of Arts and Ph.D. at New York University’s Institute of Fine Arts.
Professor Johnson frequently guides architectural tours to Italy where he had studied Renaissance architecture on a Fulbright Scholarship when he was a student.
