Nigel paid tribute to Daniel Woods who was stepping down as First Team Captain and commended Simon Lambert and Liam McKendry on their batting throughout the summer. Nigel also paid tribute to Tom Pringle who won the Yorkshire League bowling prize and Liam McKendry, who won the Yorkshire League wicket keeping prize. Nigel thanked Iain Jarvis for his enthusiasm and skill in leading the Second XI, and also congratulated him on ending the season as the Second XI leading run scorer. Nigel thanked Simon Hall for his captaincy of the Third XI in a season where the Thirds finished 3 points above the relegation zone. Nigel also thanked his father, Tony Hall, for leading the Fourth XI in Division 3, and was delighted that the Fourth Team was able to blood so many youngsters. Nigel thanked Mark Burn for his tireless work with the Junior Section, as well as Derek Lancaster, Greg Howe and Mick Hammerton for their coaching roles in the Junior set-up. Nigel also paid tribute to the work done by Jim Love as the Club's head coach, which has seen the Club experience unparalleled success. Nigel was delighted that the Bresnan testimonial had been such a huge success and looked forward to welcoming Yorkshire in 2015 under the banner of the Richard Pyrah testimonial T20. Nigel confirmed that Matthew Hattee would be leaving his role as assistant groundsman and thanked Matthew for his hard work over the last 5 years. Nigel also congratulated Liam McKendry on his award as the Yorkshire League's Ground of the Year award. Nigel thanked John Nicholls for his tireless work in raising money through the raffle, and also to Tom Wilson, who had founded what was turning out to be a very successful lunch club. Nigel was sorry to report that the Club had lost three long-standing members in George Myerscough, Jackie Sylvester and Peter Hutchinson in 2014. Nigel thanked Clive Robinson for his work as Club President and in particular the success of the Sponsor a Player initiative. Nigel confirmed that the Yorkshire League would be changing from 2016 and York would be entering the North Yorkshire ECB Premier League. York Sports Club was showing significant profit and Nigel was delighted to announce that the Club's levy would be reduced by a further 10% in 2015. Nigel took questions on the restructuring of the Yorkshire League. Nick paid tribute to Nigel Durham for his tireless work on behalf of the Club.
