CHIEF SCIENTIST: Douglas J. La Brecque Douglas J. La Brecque Chief Scientist Education Douglas J. La Brecque received his B. S. in Geology from New Mexico State University in 1979 and his M.S. in Geophysics from the University of Utah in 1982. After working for three years for Lockheed Engineering and Management Services Company under contract to the USEPA, he returned to the University of Utah and received his Ph. D. in Geophysics in 1989. He taught at the University of Missouri-Rolla from 1989 to 1991 and the University of Arizona from 1991 to 1997. Dr. La Brecque spent two years managing the Reno office of a small environmental firm before co-founding Multi-Phase Technologies, LLC in the spring of 2000. He has published a number of papers on electromagnetic geophysics but is best known for his work on electrical resistivity tomography and its application to environmental remediation.
