Douglas A. Branch
is a leader in representing Oklahoma's technology industry.
A graduate of the University of Oklahoma
(B.B.A. Finance, 1979; J.D., 1982), Mr. Branch
has devoted his
career to the success of high technology companies.
has led numerous venture capital financings, initial public offerings and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Branch has served as Chairman of the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science & Technology (OCAST), and was at the time the youngest chairman of a state agency in Oklahoma.
He has also served as Chairman of the Oklahoma Academy's 1999 Conference ("Lighting the Fuse - Competing in the Global Economy"), Chairman of the Business and Corporate Law section of the Oklahoma Bar Association, and Chairman of the OCAST SBIR Committee.

organized a group (known informally as the Plasmid Society) with the mission of stimulating the development of a biotechnology industry organization.
The efforts of that group contributed to increased venture capital activity, industry collaboration and the development of the Presbyterian Health Foundation Research Park.
Mr. Branch is a frequent lecturer on venture capital, corporate law and technology law.
He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Oklahoma Academy and is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma and Leadership Oklahoma City.
