His opera, THE SCARLET LETTER, premiered in Baltimore in 2002, and two of his musicals - DIVINE TERROR and A CHRISTMAS CAROL - had limited runs in New York City. Doug graduated Summa cum Laude from University of Maryland where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in composition and holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing program of New York University. Doug is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, American Federation of Musicians, American Guild of Organists and the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP).
