DOUG THOMPSON
After touring the United States and Canada for three years with a music group, Doug graduated from the LOGOS Bible Study Center and Los Angeles Baptist College (The Master's College) in 1982. He went on to study at Talbot Seminary, Luther Rice Seminary, and Whitefield Theological Seminary. He worked for Phil Johnson at Grace To You as the first Director of Counseling Ministries and traveled and spoke with Dr. John MacArthur at radio Bible Conferences. He was ordained and commissioned by the Elders at Grace Community Church. Doug was the founding pastor of Bridge Bible Fellowship in Reseda in 1984. He accepted the call to pastor Middletown Bible Church in 1990 where he has served for 27 years. He has had the opportunity to teach and preach in Romania, the Philippines, Uganda, and India, and has spoken at numerous camps, retreats, and pastor's conferences. He has taught at the LOGOS Bible Institute, Grace School of Theology and Ministry and is currently Professor of Theology at The Cornerstone Seminary in Vallejo, California. He has been published in Reformation and Revival Journal. Doug and his wife Janice have been married for 39 years, have four grown children and five grandsons. Doug:
