University Honda owner, Doug Malinoff, believes living in the town where he does business makes a difference in the world of car sales.

Before then, he was the third-generation owner of a car dealership in Gilroy that had been in the family since the mid-1950s.

job rewarding and enjoys the fact that every day is different.
"There's nothing better than to see a customer in a new car, and happy," he
carries the full line of Honda vehicles, including four alternative-fuel vehicles - the Civic hybrid sedan, the Civic GX NGV (natural gas vehicle), and the Insight Hybrid.
Doug's wife, Liz, has been involved in community projects and events.
She is a former president of the DHS Football Backers, a board member for the Davis Bridge Educational Founation and the Blue and White Foundation.
is currently one of the friends of the Yolo Crisis Nursery.
The dealership also continues to improve its customer service.
It has express service for speedier repairs and has expanded to serve other Japanese cars besides Hondas.
In an effort to improve the business' carbon footprint, Malinoff
installed solar panels on the dealership several years ago, which provide 10 percent of the business' electrical needs.
It is one of the first car dealerships in California to go solar.
