Doreen K. Kreiner was born and raised in Newmanstown, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania.
She graduated from Eastern Lebanon County High School (1987) and Millersville University (1991), with a Bachelors Degree in Biology.
She earned her certification in Medical Technology from Saint Joseph's Hospital in Reading (1992), and began her career at Lancaster General Hospital immediately afterwards.
Doreen is currently the lone Core Lab Supervisor at Lancaster General Hospital.
works closely with medical staff and management researching, designing, and implementing new systems and procedures, as well as performing daily supervisory responsibilities.
Doreen is an active member of the Manheim Township Democratic Committee & Club and of the Lancaster County Democratic Committee.
Since 2004, she
has volunteered as a greeter, poll-watcher, phone-banker, lit-dropper, parade-walker, canvasser, headquarter-renovator, fundraiser, and event organizer.
Last year, Doreen was chair of the Rally for Change Committee, headlined by Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius.

first vote for Lancaster County at the Pennsylvania Democratic State Committee's Endorsement Convention
This spring, Doreen
will be assisting the Pennsylvania Federation of Democratic Women
organize their annual convention at the new Marriott Convention Center
in downtown Lancaster.
Doreen volunteers weekly at the Water Street Rescue Mission.
also donates to the Lancaster County Project for the Needy, the Boy's and Girl's Club, the Humane League of Lancaster County and Project Linus
