The company has three national tenants scheduled to move in - Movie Gallery, a video store; Rent-A-Center, a rent-to-own furniture and appliance store; and Ace Cash Express, a check-cashing business, said Donnie Hendrix, vice president of Southern Development of Mississippi Inc.
The company is spending $1.6 million to build the plaza, Hendrix
said.It won't be clear how many jobs the plaza could bring until the rest of the space is rented. Hendrix
said Southern Development of Mississippi is a national building company that works for several retail clients that serve as tenants.
The company is also planning to build a plaza on a half-acre plot in Sinton at the corner of Sinton and McCall streets.Movie Gallery
