Moore hired much of WJHG's current staff, including Bell, and his leadership influenced many of them in the more than 40 years he worked there. When he retired, Lewis said WJHG staff could not find anyone in the country who had stayed at one station so long. "He was somebody who cared so much about this community that that never stopped after he retired. If anything, it increased," Bell said.
