Donn Bobb is a veteran, award-winning broadcaster from the Caribbean with more than 30 years' experience in the field. . Originally from St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Donn is Chief Executive Producer and Chief of Caribbean Programmes at United Nations Radio. He has extensively covered the Caribbean, having worked at Radio St. Vincent, Radio Antilles in Montserrat, ABS TV in Antigua (1981-1982), and as stringer for the Associated Press. In New York, Donn also worked at WLIB Radio for 20 years in various capacities as a disc-jockey, news writer and presenter. Trained in the UK, Donn has traveled the world covering breaking news assignments and sustainable development conferences in Africa, Europe, Asia, the Caribbean and the Pacific. Donn holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications.

DONN BOBBA veteran broadcaster with over 30 years experience in the field, Mr. Bobb currently serves as the English News Anchor of the United Nations daily international newscast and narrator of UN Television features broadcast internationally.He also works on CNN World Report and is a producer of Caribbean programmes.He can be heard on WBAI each Sunday at 6 pm, on 'Here and Abroad' broadcast on Air America every Sunday at 1 pm, and on Carib World Internet radio.Mr. Bobb also has a weekly music/interview programme on VOG-Grenada.
Originally from St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Mr. Bobb has done extensive work in the Caribbean, having worked at the Windward Islands Broadcasting Service in Grenada, where he received his original training.Following the demise of WIBS, he worked at Radio St. Vincent (1972-1979) before joining Radio Antilles in Montserrat as a broadcast journalist (1979-81), later becoming News Director.In 1982, Mr. Bobb was with ABS TV in Antigua as a news consultant during which time he also served as a stringer for the Associated Press.In 1983, he joined WLIB as an on-air personality where he worked for 20 years in various capacities, including as a disc jockey, news writer and presenter.
During his career, Mr. Bobb has covered hurricanes, a volcanic eruption, the Pan Am Games and numerous political, economic, social, environmental and cultural events in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Caribbean, South and Central America.
