Donald R. Luger is the president and chief executive officer of Lockwood Greene a global consulting, design, and construction firm employing over 3,000 in 45 locations worldwide.Lockwood Greene
became a part of the J.A. Jones, Inc.
group of companies January 1, 1999.Luger began his career as a co-op student for the Tennessee Valley Authority from 1958-1961, and then as a structural engineer for NASA in Huntsville, Ala., in the summer of 1962.
After receiving his bachelor's degree and master's degree in civil engineering from Auburn University
in 1962 and 1964, he
worked for E.I. DuPont in Nashville, Tenn., as area engineer.He went on to work for Hayes International in Huntsville and Fibers Industries in Shelby, N.C., and Greenville, S.C. before joining Lockwood Greene as a project manager in Atlanta in 1967.At Lockwood Greene, he was senior project manager, vice president corporate director, and senior vice president corporate director before being named president in 1982, chief executive officer in 1983.Luger
also completed the Stanford Business School Executive Program in 1979.
