Eisenhower's Presidential Inauguration, Queen Elizabeth and General Douglas MacArthur's 80th birthday.Donald was a graduated of Ball State University in Muncie,Indiana with a BA Degree and a Masters Degree in Music Education.He taught band and was active in school administration as Principal in Kings Local School District, Union School Corporation and Flatrock-Hawcreek Schools.He was also a piano tuner and technician, owning his own piano tuning and repair company and was a member of the Cincinnati Piano Tuner's Technician Guild.He was an active member of the Montgomery Community Baptist Church since 1984, where he played the trumpet in the church orchestra, played in the hand bell choir and sang in the the church choir.Donald was also choir director for the First Baptist Church of Shelbyville, Indiana, Loveland Presbyterian Church, First Baptist Church in Wyoming, Ohio, and the First Baptist Church in Lebanon, Ohio.He played trumpet with the Muncie Symphony and judged band solo ensemble contests in Indiana and Ohio.Donald was a Master Mason and Syrian Shriner where he played at the Shriners Burns Institute, nursing and retirement communities.Recently, Donald played the National Anthem for the Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Cyclones and the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks.
