Donald Kishi '68, PharmD is Associate Dean for Student and Curricular Affairs and Health Sciences Clinical Professor of Pharmacy in the School of Pharmacy at the University of California at San Francisco.
Dr. Kishi received his PharmD from UCSF in 1968 and has been at UCSF since that time.
He participated in the development and implementation of clinical pharmacy education and services as a faculty member and in a variety of administrative positions over the years, including Vice Chair for Clinical Services, Assistant Director, Associate Director, and Deputy Director of Pharmaceutical Services, and Residency Program Director.
Dr. Kishi is a Past President of the UCSF Pharmacy Alumni Association (PAA) (2004-06).
goals for his
presidential years were to: increase the visibility of the PAA
on campus; continuing the development of the alumni - student interactions; beginning the development of alumni-pharmacy practice resident and specialty resident interactions; continuing to find and develop ways of increasing student and alumni membership and participation in the Association.
He continues to work toward these goals in his current positions.
He started his participation as a member of the AAUCSF Board of Directors in 2005.
Cooky Quandt '72, PharmD was a community pharmacist for over 20 years before becoming an inspector for the California Board of Pharmacy
After she retired as an inspector, she became the director of pharmacy compliance for Longs Drug Stores, and was responsible for overseeing 500 plus stores in three states for regulatory & compliance issues.
Currently she is a pharmacy compliance consultant.
