What a joy and privilege it was for us to sing at Mass here and for Jim McCormick and Don Kendrick to be asked to be the readers for this Mass. Monsignor was effusive in his gratitude and praise for our singing as well as the hymn selections chosen by Don.

We thank God, the support of the parish, the leadership of Monsignor Walton, the artistry and talent of our conductor Don Kendrick, the countless hours of Jim McCormick organizing and fine tuning the tour, and the dedication of the choir members for this successful and holy pilgrimage to Italy.

Sacred Heart's Schola Cantorum with Conductor Donald Kendrick will present their annual Lenten Choral Mysteries concert -a testament of faith, comfort and tranquility - on Palm Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 2 PM in Sacred Heart Church.
...
At the same time, our parish is most fortunate to have one of the best music programs in Northern California under the leadership of Dr. Donald Kendrick, our Director of Music.
Throughout this year we have been celebrating Don and Schola's twentieth anniversary season and their work in providing excellence in church music at Sacred Heart Church. In January 1992, Don established ScholaCantorum (School of Singers) to sing each Sunday at the 11 AM Mass. Since then, our all-volunteer choir has grown and expanded its ministry far beyond the doors of our parish to include music for Holy Week, Christmas Midnight Mass, wedding and funerals, baptisms, ordinations, consecrations, concerts, recordings, and international concert tours.
