Don M. McCurry, Jr., D.Miss.
Adjunct Professor of Missions University of Maryland, B.S.; Pittsburgh-Xenia Theological Seminary, M.Div.; Temple University, M.Ed.; Fuller Theological Seminary, D.Miss. Dr. McCurry spent his early adult years on the mission field in Pakistan and in efforts to reach Muslims for Christ. He is the founder and former director of the Zwemer Institute of Muslim Studies. Dr. McCurry taught in the School of World Missions of Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA, for seven years, and then became the founding president of Ministries to Muslims in Colorado Springs, CO. Dr. McCurry presently spends most of his time teaching in seminaries and training programs in the United States and overseas. He is the author or editor of numerous publications, many written or translated in foreign languages. He has also served as Director of the North American Lausanne Consultation on Muslim Evangelism and for four years as Executive Director of the Ibero-American Institute of Transcultural Studies in Granada, Spain.

This need was highlighted with the emergence of the Lausanne Movement and grew out of a consultation led by Dr. Don McCurry the first Zwemer Director. [See The Beginnings below.]
The early years of the Zwemer Institute was closely affiliated with the School of World Missions at nearby Fuller Theological Seminary and led and influenced by notable Muslim scholars as McCurry, Robert Douglas and Dudley Woodberry. Presenters featured during the week will include Don McCurry, Robert Douglas, Dudley Woodberry, Warren Larson, Jim Dretke, Evelyne Reisacher, Phil Parshall, Len Bartlotti and Greg Livingstone. by Don McCurry Don McCurry served with the Presbyterian Church in Pakistan 18 years. He currently serves the church worldwide through Ministry to Muslims after founding and directing the Zwemer Institute while teaching at Fuller Seminary.
