The founder and Director of Metokos Ministries is Dr. Don K. Clements, a Teaching Elder in the Presbyterian Church in America. Dr. Clements has more than 30 years ministry experience in small churches, the past 16 years in small towns in Southwestern Virginia. During this time God has equipped and enabled him to develop Vision Plans for small churches. Metokos Ministries is designed to help other small churches do the same thing. He is an Affiliate Evangelist with Presbyterian Evangelistic Fellowship (PEF).

As a retired Navy Chaplain he has a modest military retirement income (a bit below the family average for his rural county in southwestern Virginia). All gifts to Presbyterian Evangelistic Fellowship for the account of Metokos Ministries go to reimburse expenses, including such things office expense (he maintains an office in his home), travel expenses (mileage, motels, food, etc.), and marketing (such as maintain this website, doing email updates, etc.)
