Q What is the vision of Diya?
A Our vision is to defeat poverty by building an Educated Pakistan.

Q What is the general criteria for awarding scholarship?
A "Scholarships are awarded directly to most deserving students as well as through approved schools, colleges and institutions that are on the panel of Diya
Applicants are required to provide comprehensive details on the financial profile, family background and their academic record.
The information provided are attested by relevant authorities (for example, School Principal or District Counselor).
Further verifications are obtained in the form of phone interviews, reference, or a site visit by Diya
Q I am not part of Diya's
approved list of institutions, am I still eligible fro being awarded a scholarship?
A Yes, students may apply directly to Diya
Q What is the process for selection of students from DIYA
A Scholarships are awarded annually to talented students on recommendation of the school selection committee.
Applications are assessed by the School level Application review committee at the RWP
office followed by the approval of the scholarship if the applicant meets the eligibility criteria.
Q What is the process for awarding scholarship to students from non DIYA
A The management send individual application form to the applicant/student with a list of required documents which include photocopies of Form-B of the applicant, Guardian's CNIC copies, and result card of previous examination. if applicant meets the minimum eligibility criteria, and Diya
has the funding available, the manager operation recommends these applications to President and Vice president for final approval.
Q I have been receiving stipend at school level, will DIYA
continue to support me to high school/university level?
Q What is the criteria for awarding special scholarship from DIYA?
A "Special scholarships are awarded to the most talented, deserving and extremely compassionate students who achieve more than 60% marks or at least B grade at all levels of examination.
A special credit of up to 5% and 20% marks will be given to Hafiz e Quran and handicapped and severely disabled students respectively."
Q How can we transfer funds to Diya?
A Donations can be made via cheque, money order or bank transfer payable to Diya Pakistan

Q Are donations provided used to any administration expenses.
A All respective donations received are only used to fund scholarships to our approved students.
