Dionisio Borromeo, deputy director of the Cavite Provincial Police Office, said that John Paul Lopez will be slapped with multiple murder and frustrated murder charges before the court.
"(We will file the case) first hour tomorrow (Monday)," said Borromeo over broadcast interview yesterday. According to Borromeo, the police have already secured the affidavit of complaint from the families of the victims to support the criminal complaint against Lopez, who was tagged as the one who reloaded ammunition to the magazines of Ronaldo Bae, who went on a shooting rampage in Kawit Friday. "We are in the process of collecting more evidence to prove our allegations against Lopez," said Borromeo. "We decided to file the case because during our initial interview, there is no indication that he (Lopez) intended to prevent the shooting rampage of Mister Bae, that's why we file the case," added Borromeo. Borromeo also confirmed that Lopez was found positive of illegal drugs following examination conducted by the police crime laboratory.
