Mall officials and event organizer Dino Oberto recently confirmed the dates.
The NEPA Race Car Show will be a week long affair and include all types of race vehicles that compete in and around northeastern Pennsylvania.
In the midst of one of the worst winters in years, the inaugural event was a huge hit despite three snow storms in a week's time.
Mall management, however, is excited to bring back the mid-winter show which was deemed an unqualified success as racers and race fans flocked to the Hazleton area shopping center and where treated to an excellent array of racing machines that filled the spacious Laurel Mall aisle ways.
"We're very excited about bringing the NEPA Race Car Show back to the Laurel Mall," said Oberto, who is a motorsports journalist for the Hazleton Standard-Speaker and Bloomsburg Press-Enterprise and is PR Director for Lehighton's Mahoning Valley Speedway as well as member of the media staff at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond.
"We beat some very crazy odds last year with all the snow and even got to stay inside the mall an extra week due to the weather.
The mall was very understanding with all that and are graciously welcoming us back for another go," said Oberto.
