Dianne Brown, Fox School District

Dianne Brown, superintendent of the Fox school district, said at a press conference Wednesday afternoon that the district removed Milzark from the classroom on Jan. 6 after hearing of the allegations and placed him on paid administrative leave.
The district is now preparing to terminate his employment, Brown said. Brown said that the school district does extensive background checks on all prospective teachers before hiring them and that Milzark's record before this incident was clean. She said she was saddened by the incident but emphasized that the district has "a lot of great staff members." "Any violation of our students' trust is disheartening," Brown said.
