husband Allan met as students at CalArts in 1977.
They moved back to Santa Clarita with their two sons in 1993.
Since that time, Diane
has worked on a wide range of issues of vital importance to the city including campaigning to preserve open space, the preservation of Elsmere Canyon, the defeat of the Las Lomas development in the Newhall Pass, and the ongoing effort to stop the Cemex mining project in the eastern portion of the Valley.
Diane has also served as a leader at various levels of the PTA.
In 2003, she
husband founded a local business, StudyPros In-Home Tutoring
first served on the Planning Commission
from 2002-2010 and is honored to once again bring her
knowledge, skills, and perspective to the important task of guiding city development.
Diane served as the liaison from the Planning Commission to the City's Arts Advisory Committee, and her work with that committee was instrumental in the creation of the current Arts Commission.
