Diane Rosenthal,Executive Director, joined the NFTE team in June 2012 and works closely with community leaders, volunteers and staff to ensure high quality program outcomes.
Diane has as over 25 years of experience in non-profit management.
Prior to joining NFTE FC Diane was the executive director of Literacy Volunteers-Stamford/Greenwich for ten years - the top performing volunteer-based adult education organization in Connecticut.
She was the executive director of The New York Public Library's adult education and literacy program for ten years.
Diane earned an MS in education from Fordham University and started her career as a middle school teacher in Yonkers, NY.
She has served on the Board of Directors of Neighbors Link Stamford and the Connecticut Association of Adult and Continuing Education and is on the Advisory Council for Latino U College Access.

Diane Rosenthal – Executive Director
Diane joined Literacy Volunteers in 2001.
Under Diane's guidance LVSG is now ranked among the nation's top five percent of volunteer-based literacy organizations.
She began her career in adult education at The New York Public Library where she served as the Literacy Director for thirteen years.
Prior to joining LVSG she was the Executive Director of What Works Literacy Partnership, a nationwide initiative designed to help adult education programs develop their accountability systems.
Diane currently serves on the CAACE (Connecticut Association of Adult and Continuing Education) Board.
She received her M.S. in Education from Fordham University.
