Dexter Danielson On March 1st of 2007 Dexter was appointed as a volunteer Chaplain serving the Forest Grove Police and Fire Departments and was later approved by the Board of Public Safety Chaplaincy/MPC. The Chaplaincy welcomed Dexter Danielson as Executive Director of Public Safety Chaplaincy/MPC in December of 2002. Dexter is a long-time friend of the ministry since its inception in 1983-84. He and his wife Nancy have consistently supported the chaplaincy of PSC/MPC over the years through their personal friendship, financial support, and volunteer work. Dexter was involved in establishment and continuation of the peer support and critical incident stress management program within Washington County beginning in 1982, and has worked closely with the Chaplains in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM). Dexter has received training through International Conference of Police Chaplains (ICPC) at international and regional seminars and is certified in Critical Incident Stress Management and Debriefing. Dexter and Nancy have been faithful lay leaders in ministry within one church, the United Methodist Church of Banks, for nearly 30 years, holding many responsible positions of leadership.
